No food or water after 9 pm the night before surgery. Bring cats in carriers / traps. Free, but donations help us, help more and more cats in the future.. Suggested: $40.00 females, $25 males. Financial Assistance is available, no worry,
just spay/neuter to reduce animal overpopulation humanely !
When you come to the appointment, 2 pages of paperwork is to be filled out and signed. We will ask- if you want to have the ear-tipped showing that the cat has been fixed. HPH is no longer offering microchips or vaccinations. Veterinarian spays pregnant cats, and that does terminate the pregnancy. Any questions..? If not able to keep appointment, please let us know ASAP, so we may give the appointment to another.
You are also welcome to stay and and be a Day Volunteer, as many hands makes lighter work ! There is a Volunteer Registration Form to be filled out when you arrive. Volunteers can help with: assisting the InTake Coordinator, unloading, lifting and taking traps & carriers to surgery lineup when instructed, we need many recovery watchers, instrument scrubbers, trap/carrier cleaners, rubbish hauler, transportation, clean up and whatever needs to be done ! Please let us know if you are able to help out or not on these days and what times. It takes steady reliable volunteers to put on these free / low cost clinics. It feels great to help the community and save our animal friends.
** We also need the most Serious Dedicated Volunteers to be ear tippers & flea treatment givers. You will be trained in these procedures and begin with assisting with these procedures. With vacations and other commitments we need much more depth in these positions. Please email back if you are Seriously committed to that service for the animals and can be depended upon to be at the clinic! ( fyi HPH no longer does microchips or vaccinations)
Spay / Neuter Saves Lives ! Aloha & Mahalo for caring to reduce animal overpopulation humanely!
** FULL WARNING ** The CLINIC is FULL, but you may bring your cats and see if we can fit them in. IF WE HAVE TOO MANY CATS SHOW UP, the tame ones maybe turned away first..as it is an unknown how many of the OUTDOOR CATS will be CAUGHT, THEY WILL HAVE PRIORITY, due to the odds of being unable to TRAP them again. ..Thank you your understanding if this situation should arise..you should still keep your appointment please, as this has rarely happened !!!
